answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 21/12/2023 answer text <p>The Government’s National Maternity Safety Ambition is to halve the 2010 rates of stillbirths, neonatal and maternal deaths and brain injuries in babies occurring during or soon after birth by 2025. The ambition also includes reducing the rate of pre-term births from 8% to 6% by 2025.</p><p>The most recently published data which measures progress against the Ambition is for 2021 and 2022. This data coincided with the COVID-19 pandemic and is out of date. It will, therefore, not reflect recent efforts and initiatives to improve outcomes. The Department is working to increase the frequency and timeliness of publications, which will allow for closer monitoring of progress against the National Maternity Safety Ambition.</p><p>According to the latest data for 2021 and 2022, the stillbirth rate reduced by 23%, and the neonatal mortality rate for babies born over the 24-week gestational age of viability reduced by 30% since 2010.</p><p>Meanwhile, the proportion of babies born pre-term, with gestational age under 37 weeks, reduced from around 8% of all births in 2017, to 7.7% in 2021, and the overall rate of brain injuries occurring during or soon after birth has fallen to 4.2 per 1,000 births in 2019, 2% lower than the 2010 baseline.</p><p>The maternal death rate has increased. In Yemen, the UK has played a leading role in responding to the humanitarian crisis, committing over £1 billion in aid since the conflict began. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 04/11/2019 answer text <p>Employers have not been given too much or too little tax relief as employers do not receive tax relief under net pay or relief at source (RAS) arrangements.</p><p> </p><p>The information about members is not readily available in the form requested and could only be provided at disproportionate cost.</p><p> </p><p>Errors made by employers and pension providers have resulted in pension scheme members receiving either no tax relief on their pension contributions, or receiving tax relief twice.</p><p> </p><p>In the Pension schemes newsletter 105 (November 2018), HMRC invited pension schemes who think that any of their members have been given the wrong amount of tax relief to email HMRC. However, we remain concerned by continued violence between armed groups in the Central African Republic, which is causing heavy civilian loss of life and significant population displacement, despite the agreement including an immediate cessation of hostilities. For the first three years of this data collection, providers were required to notify the CQC of all patients absent without leave whose absence records were still open at midnight on the day the absence began. Incidences of absences at any time from high security hospitals, and the return of persons from unauthorised absences had to be recorded also.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Between 2010-11 to 2012-13, all mental health providers were required to notify the CQC of patients who were absent without leave.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Since 1 April 2013, only mental health providers with a designated level of security of high, medium or low are required to notify the CQC of patients who are absent without leave. In 2013-14 there were 909 notifications of absence without leave from services designated as low, medium or high security.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>There has been no assessment of the risk to the public of patients absent without leave. Instances of mental health patients absent without leave causing harm to the public are rare. We would expect mental health providers to work with their commissioners, other partners and the authorities if a patient reported as absent without leave poses a significant risk to the public.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>There has been no assessment of the impact of availability of mental health beds on the numbers of patients reported as absent without leave. Through Department for International Development funding of £130 million for 2011-15, the UK supports the Palestinian Authority (PA) in building and maintaining the institutions needed for a future Palestinian state. Support to the PA is vital for maintaining stability on the ground through continued service delivery for Palestinians and security co-operation with Israel. We have made clear that our continued support will rest on the new government's ability to live up to its commitments to the principle of non-violence and acceptance of all previous agreements and obligations, including Israel's legitimate right to exist.
