answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 20/02/2024 answer text <p>The Right to Manage is a statutory process requiring all qualifying non-participating leaseholders to be invited to become a member of the Right to Manage company using a prescribed “notice inviting participation”. The company serves these notices on the leaseholders with no input from the freeholder.</p><p>Leaseholders wishing to take forward a claim will need to obtain the title documents for their building from His Majesty’s Land Registry to determine if they qualify and to provide the required details of their leases in the claim notice. The title documents will contain the names and addresses of the owners of the other flats in the building.</p><p>In order to qualify for the Right to Manage, no ballot is held, leaseholders who have setup a Right to Manage company invite other leaseholders to participate and the claim can go forward if the qualifying criteria is met. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 26/09/2022 answer text <p>The guidance for departments to publish their SCS transparency data remains in place, and all departments have published at least once since 1st April 2022.</p><p>Each department publishes its departmental organograms on <a href="https://data.gov.uk/dataset/ff76be1f-4f37-4bef-beb7-32b259413be1/organogram-of-staff-roles-salaries" target="_blank">data.gov.uk</a> as part of the Government’s commitment to transparency. In order to do so, departments individually collect and present data including names, grades, job titles, and annual pay ranges from Permanent Secretary through to SCS2. Information for those at SCS1 is anonymised.</p><p>The decision to only publish names for SCS2 and above dates back to 2010, and was made on the grounds of proportionality and reasonable expectations of privacy. Friend the Member for East Devon (Mr Swire). This statement was rejected by the MFA. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 28/09/2015 answer text <p>· LEPs are strategic partnerships made up of business, local authority leaders, and other public sector partners.</p><p> </p><p>· They are accountable for decisions they make, with democratic accountability provided through the local authority leader representation, and financial accountability through each LEP’s accountable local authority, which receive funds on behalf of their LEP.</p><p> </p><p>· To ensure basic accountability standards are upheld, Government has established a set of clear national standards and principles which are set out in the published Accountability Systems Statement for the local growth fund, and the underpinning LEP assurance framework. These standards are broadly equivalent to much of what we expect of local government, building on, rather than duplicating the existing local government framework set out in the Accountability Systems Statement for Local Government and for Fire and Rescue Authorities.</p><p> </p><p>· In line with this national framework, LEPs and their accountable local authorities have put in place local decision making systems to ensure funds are spent with regularity, propriety and value for money. These arrangements are published in each LEP’s own local assurance framework.</p><p> </p><p>· In parallel Government has also developed a coherent approach to the monitoring and evaluation of Growth Deals which LEPs are responsible for.
