answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 23/05/2022 answer text <p>The department wants as many young people as possible to benefit from T Levels, the new gold standard qualifications in technical education. In January this year, we launched our ‘Get the Jump’ campaign, which helps 14-19-year-olds explore their education and training options, and spotlights T Levels, apprenticeships, traineeships and higher technical qualifications in particular. We are working closely with the Careers and Enterprise Company, Apprenticeship Support and Knowledge programme, academy trusts and other representative bodies to ensure that teachers and careers leaders have the information and resources they need to communicate the benefits of T Levels to their students. In addition, this August will see the first T Levels results day and there are a number of activities planned to celebrate and promote the achievements of the first cohort of T Level students, both regionally and around social media to signpost students to the dedicated T Levels website.</p><p>Our ‘Join the Skills Revolution’ campaign promotes the government’s training and employment schemes, including T Levels, to employers. Legislation already exists to ban the beating of children by their parents; the defence of reasonable chastisement can only be used when a parent is accused of assault and not when the charge is actual bodily harm, grievous bodily harm or child cruelty.</p><p>The government is aware of recent legislation in Scotland and plans for similar legislation in Wales. We have conducted no recent assessment of the merits of legislation to ban the physical punishment of children by their parents, nor have we gathered information about the public’s view of this issue or assessed the effect of smacking on children’s mental health. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 11/07/2017 answer text <p>Good practice followed at five specialist sexual health clinics (SHCs) that saw a large fall in new diagnoses of HIV among gay and bisexual men will be promoted at other SHCs across the country. The practices include increasing the uptake of testing for all gay and bisexual men by promoting repeat testing among those at higher risk of HIV acquisition and the early commencement of treatment for those who are diagnosed.</p><p> </p><p>In addition to HIV testing at SHCs and self-sampling funded by local authorities Public Health England (PHE) has contracted HIV Prevention England to undertake a national programme of HIV prevention for high risk populations to promote key HIV prevention messages including HIV testing and safer sexual behaviours. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 22/06/2015 answer text <p>We continue to condemn in the strongest terms the atrocities committed by the self-styled ISIL against all communities throughout the areas under its control. The human rights situation for many living in areas under ISIL control is gravely concerning.</p><p>I visited Iraq on 12 February and encouraged Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi to continue progress on ensuring that all minorities are represented and their rights protected. We welcome the commitments that Prime Minister al-Abadi has made to inclusivity, to protecting Iraqi citizens, addressing human rights abuses and holding those responsible to account.</p><p>We are working closely with the Iraqi government and our international coalition partners to assist and protect civilians wherever we can.
