A United Kingdom-India trade deal is projected to unlock opportunities in every corner of the United Kingdom, and could boost the economy in the North West of England by up to £304 million.</p><p> </p><p>The North West of England exported over £350 million of goods to India in 2021. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 10/07/2017 answer text <p>In December 2016, the Government issued updated guidance on how Departments should ensure they take full account of the value provided by UK steel producers when conducting their procurement activities. The Ministry of Defence (MOD) continues to follow this guidance, which has also now been extended to the wider public sector.</p><p>In the main, defence steel requirements are sourced by our prime contractors from a range of UK and international suppliers, reflecting the overarching need to ensure competitive cost, time and quality. The specialist nature of some of our steel requirements means that UK steel producers do not always have the capability to supply our programmes. There are no plans to introduce the compulsory disclosure of certification and steel origin in UK defence procurement. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 23/06/2015 answer text <p>Ofgem has a number of tools to protect consumers, including enforcement powers against a breach in licence conditions such as, SLC 26 (services for specific domestic customers), SLC 27 (payments, security deposits and disconnections) SLC 28 (prepayment meters), and has prioritised its work to protect consumers in vulnerable situations. It has published a Consumer Vulnerability Strategy which sets out its approach to identifying and tackling consumer vulnerability in the energy market.
