answer text <p>PSI deliver the Life in the UK test on behalf of the Home Office. In September 2019 PSI conducted a review of all test material to identify any questions relating to the EU, and these were retired from all Life in the UK tests by 31st October 2019.</p><p> </p><p>The Stationery Office (TSO) produce the Life in the UK handbooks and related study materials. A review was conducted of these materials to identify all references to the EU. An errata slip was produced to accompany handbook stock on sale from January 2020 which clarified the amendments and digital versions updated. In summer 2020 “Third edition. Twenty First impression 2020 (with amendments)” handbook was printed with identified references to the EU removed.</p><p> </p><p>The Home Office works closely with TSO to ensure the handbook remains up to date and factually accurate.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The UK Government supports the Israeli Government's calls for the repatriation of the bodies of Lieutenant Hadar Goldin and Staff Sergeant Oron Shaul and the release of Avraham Mengistu and another Israeli civilian held in Gaza. However, due to our no contact policy we have no plans to raise these issues with Hamas. Officials from the British Embassy in Tel Aviv have raised the return of Palestinian bodies with the Israeli authorities.​</p> more like this

answer text <p>Persons may be refused a British passport or may have their existing passport withdrawn on a number of grounds, including that their grant or continued enjoyment of passport facilities is contrary to the public interest. Public interest grounds include seeking to harm the UK or its allies by travelling on a British passport to, for example, engage in terrorism-related activity.</p><p>From November 2013 to 11 November 2014, the Royal Prerogative power to withdraw or refuse a British Passport has been exercised 21 times on public interest grounds against British citizens thought to be involved in the support of ISIL and other extremist groups in Syria and Iraq.</p><p> </p> more like this
