answer text <p>All information on high-risk plants, including the latest information on the plants’ dossiers and those where the bans have been lifted, can be found at the ‘Plant Portal’ on gov.uk. The Government continues to proactively engage with industry to understand where further action is needed and prepare and submit dossiers for scientific assessment.</p><p> </p><p>Through the Windsor Framework, we have already lifted the ban on the most urgent eleven priority species, these being European beech, English oak, Sessile oak, Norway Maple, Japanese maple, Sycamore maple, Field Maple, Crab apple, Common apple, Hawthorn and two types of privet (wax leaf and delavey).</p><p> </p><p>The ban on common hazel will be lifted soon, which will be followed by another seven species that industry has prioritised. We will continue to work with industry to identify further species as needed.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The upper capital limit will increase from £23,250 to £100,000 and lower capital limit from £14,250 to £20,000. Anyone with assets between the capital limits will be expected to contribute towards the cost of their care from their income, but if that is not sufficient, they will contribute no more than 20% of their chargeable assets per year. Those with £20,000 or less will pay what they can afford from their income only, leaving their assets fully protected. These changes allow for an increase in number of people who benefit directly from state support in the social care system from around half to two thirds in the long term.</p> more like this

answer text <p>While there are many other markets the UK will look to for new agreements in the future, our shared values and strength of trade with the United States, Japan, Australia and New Zealand, make them the right places to focus our initial attention. We have published our negotiation objectives for a UK-US free trade agreement. We will publish more details on our approach to other priority partners in due course.</p><p> </p><p>We are also continuing our programme to replicate the effects of existing EU trade agreements to ensure continuity for UK businesses following the transition period. By the time we left the EU, we had signed trade continuity agreements with 48 countries.</p><p> </p><p>My Rt Hon Friend the Minister of State for Trade Policy (Conor Burns) is leading for the Department on engagement with Nations beyond US, Japan, Australia and New Zealand.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The UK and the EU are both clear that we want to protect the broad range of rights and entitlements currently enjoyed by both EU citizens in the UK and UK nationals in the EU. The Prime Minister recently reiterated this in her open letter to EU citizens.</p><p> </p><p>The Government is undertaking a wide range of analysis covering the entirety of the UK economy in order to support negotiations. This includes more than 50 sectors as well as cross-cutting areas.</p><p>In addition, I understand that a number of transport sector stakeholders have responded to the Migration Advisory Committee’s call for evidence on EEA workers in the UK labour market, which the Committee intends to publish in due course.</p><p> </p> more like this

answer text <p>The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) is an independent body and develops the detailed scope of individual guidelines through consultation with stakeholders. NICE has advised that the scope for its update of clinical guideline on venous thromboembolism - reducing the risk (CG92) covers a range of population groups, including:</p><p> </p><p>- Adults and young people (16 years and older) admitted to hospital</p><p>- Adults and young people (16 years and older) attending hospital for day procedures including cancer treatment and surgery.</p><p> </p><p>In terms of prophylaxis, the scope specifies that individual populations will be investigated separately, including patients being treated for cancer who have been admitted to hospital or are having day procedures (including surgery and chemotherapy).</p><p> </p><p>The current clinical guideline published in January 2010 already identifies active cancer or cancer treatment as a risk factor for venous thromboembolism. It also makes specific recommendations on when to offer prophylaxis to patients with cancer.</p>
