answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 24/11/2021 answer text <p>The Home Office publishes data on the number of returns from the UK in each quarter in the ‘<a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/immigration-statistics-quarterly-release" target="_blank">Immigration Statistics Quarterly release</a>’. The latest data on Asylum related returns go to the end of March 2021 and are published in Ret_04 and Ret_05 of the <a href="https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/1011643/returns-summary-jun-2021-tables.ods" target="_blank">returns summary tables</a>.</p><p>The Home Office seeks to return people who do not have any legal right to stay in the UK, which includes people who:</p><ul><li>enter, or attempt to enter, the UK illegally (including people entering clandestinely and by means of deception on entry);</li><li>overstay their period of legal right to remain in the UK;</li><li>breach their conditions of leave;</li><li>are subject to deportation action; for example, due to a serious criminal conviction and</li><li>have been refused asylum.</li></ul> answering member constituency Torbay answering member printed Kevin Foster question first answered 24/11/2021 14:27:18 answering member 4451 label Biography information for Kevin Foster

question text	To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, whether he has plans to extend business rates relief to food and drink wholesalers who supply to (a) schools, (b) hospitals, (c) care homes and the hospitality industry to mitigate against (i) businesses in that sector closing and (ii) jobs being lost as a result of the covid-19 outbreak.

answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 23/07/2020 answer text <p>The Government has provided enhanced support through business rates relief to businesses occupying properties used for retail, hospitality and leisure given the direct and acute impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on those sectors.</p><p> </p><p>A range of other measures to support all businesses, including those not eligible for the business rates holiday, such as wholesalers, has also been made available. On 8 July the Chancellor set out a package of measures to support jobs across the UK, including a Job Retention Bonus to help firms keep furloughed workers, and a new £2 billion Kickstart Scheme to create hundreds of thousands of new, fully subsidised jobs for young people.
