answer text <p>The NHS Long Term Plan commits an additional £2.3 billion a year for the expansion and transformation of mental health services in England, including Lincolnshire, by March 2024 so that an additional two million people can get the National Health Service-funded mental health support that they need.</p><p>We continue to deliver Mental Health Support Teams in schools and colleges across England. Lincolnshire currently has seven such teams, with another one due to be created by January 2024. These teams deliver interventions directly to children with mild to moderate mental health needs, such as anxiety, and they also provide advice to school staff and act as a link with local children and young people’s mental health services.</p> more like this

answer text <p>We are working with the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs to understand the impacts of our mental health policies for people that live in rural areas.</p><p>Integrated care boards (ICBs) are responsible for decisions about the provision of services in their area and on how funding allocations should be used to meet the needs of people within their specific ICB region. There are adjustments made in the ICB allocations formula to account for how the costs of providing health care may vary between different types of rural and urban areas.</p><p>We are taking steps to increase access to mental health services, including remotely both digitally and over the telephone, which can be helpful for people in rural settings. The NHS Long Term Plan commits to investing an additional £2.3 billion a year into mental health services, including through ICB baseline funding.</p> more like this
