answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 30/01/2023 answer text <p>Anyone walking dogs is required to comply with the Animal Welfare Act 2006 which requires individuals in control of animals to protect them from unnecessary suffering, and to provide for their welfare needs. Commercial dog walkers should also comply with any other relevant legislation, local authority and insurance policy requirements.</p><p>The government currently has no plans to introduce new mandatory licensing for professional dogs walkers or to introduce a new mandatory limit on the number of dogs that a person can walk at any one time. The Canine and Feline Sector Group has published guidance to assist dog walkers. Companies such as GlaxoSmithKline, Nissan and Apple have announced major investments in the UK since the referendum.</p><p>In the event of redundancies, the Government looks to support affected workers back into employment via the Rapid Response Service. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 23/02/2015 answer text <p>In line with their operational independence, this is an issue on which appropriate action is taken by the police as required. <br><br>The police Security Review Committee process considers terrorist threats to all communities across the UK, and considers the appropriate policing response, including any protective security requirements, advice and guidance, to respond to any emerging threats. <br><br>I understand that the police assessed the risks arising from the sale of the magazine Charlie Hedbo in the UK after events in Paris, and provided appropriate advice to wholesalers, distributors, and retailers of the magazine.
