The programme is being delivered by NHS Blood and Transplant and Anthony Nolan. It aims to enhance the resilience of the UK's stem cell supply by strategically recruiting donors, particularly those most likely to donate, and to address health disparities through targeted campaigns, with a focus on ethnic minority communities. By increasing the pool of potential donors, the programme seeks to improve the availability of matches in the UK, ultimately reducing waiting times for patients in need of stem cell treatment.</p><p>The Department does not hold data on the current number of patients in England awaiting stem cell treatment. Earlier this month, pro-regime forces broke the Daesh siege of regime-held parts of Deir Ez-Zor. It is for Daesh to avoid any further civilian bloodshed in Deir Ez-Zor or elsewhere by surrendering themselves and their weapons. The UK and the Coalition take all possible precautions to avoid civilian casualties when conducting any form of military operation. All missions are meticulously planned and every care is taken to ensure we minimise civilian casualties. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 22/09/2015 answer text <p>Under the Sign up to Safety Scheme £8 Million has been awarded to 25 maternity units who submitted a successful bid to the National Health Service Litigation Authority incentivisation scheme. Most of the successful bids related to improvements in foetal monitoring (equipment and training) supervision, human factors and team working or a combination of these themes.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>All 51 bids (successful and unsuccessful) had to demonstrate a link to their claims. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 05/11/2014 answer text <p>Since the Language Centre opened on 19th September 2013 a total of 45 different languages have been studied there either full or part-time by 813 students. Of those students, 779 are Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) staff and 34 are from other government departments (OGDs) (including staff from the following departments: Ministry of Defence, Cabinet Office, the Department for Business, Innovation &amp; Skills, Home Office, Ministry of Justice, UK Trade and Investment, the Department for International Development, HM Revenue and Customs, the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, the Department of Energy and Climate Change, and the House of Commons). An additional 60 FCO staff have trained at the Institut Francais. Staff across the Civil Service can also access the FCO Language Centre library to continue to develop their own language skills outside formal study and 58 OGD staff have taken advantage of this offer so far.</p><p>It is important to note that when more appropriate, staff from OGDs also receive language training outside of the FCO Language Centre through use of the Civil Service-wide contract with Language Services Direct (the company that run the FCO Language Centre) or at the Institut Francais if French is required.
