answer text <p>The UK is a significant producer of both crude oil and petroleum products, and UK demand is met through a combination of domestic production and imports from a diverse range of suppliers. The UK is already a net importer of refined oil products, and we both import and export all major products.</p><p> </p><p>The drive to reduce carbon emissions towards Net Zero will inevitably reduce the demand for fuels over the coming decades. The oil product market is a liquid and widely traded market, meaning the UK will continue to meet its needs for refined oil products from a flexible and diverse range of sources.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The Home Office has established a Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) directorate Chief Digital, Data and Technology Officer, to enable the Home Office to keep citizens safe and the country secure through leading-edge digital, data and technology solutions.</p><p>HO DDaT works in partnership with the Department to build and run digital services and systems. It does this by ensuring reliable, responsive, secure technology and data; an improved technology experience for employees; fully accessible customer-centric digital services; and building for the future. It makes digital information, systems and services available to the public through gov.uk.</p><p>HO DDaT works closely with the Government Digital Service (GDS), which leads the digital function across government. Focus is on ‘digital maturity’ as opposed to “digitisation”.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The Government published its Digital Inclusion Strategy in April 2014 when 11 million people were digitally excluded. It committed to a 25% reduction by 2016, and a further 25% every two years thereafter. On this basis, over 90% of the adult population will be digitally capable by 2020.</p><p> </p><p>Government has committed to making digital inclusion part of the development of wider policy, programmes and digital services. The government does not collect data on all programmes that include a digital inclusion component, nor on local level initiatives. Government invests through a variety of programmes, ranging from the national super-fast broadband roll out, to the Digital Deal scheme for housing associations and funding for digital skills training through the Skills Funding Agency. The Department for Business, Innovation and Skills is funding a basic digital skills programme to reach 1 million digitally excluded people over 5 years, in addition to the 1.25 million adults helped under the previous programme.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>In addition to specific digital inclusion related skills programmes, £7.4m has been committed to funding free wifi and internet access for libraries in England.</p>
