answer text <p>The Financial Conduct Authority’s (FCA) rules require firms offering regulated credit products to offer forbearance to customers who are in arrears with their repayments. Firms can meet these requirements by suspending, reducing, waiving, or cancelling any further interest or charges on credit agreements and allowing customers to defer payment of arrears or make token payments for a reasonable period of time.</p><p> </p><p>The FCA is also in the process of strengthening its framework for firms to provide better support to customers facing payment difficulties. It recently consulted on plans to incorporate its Tailored Support Guidance into its Handbook. This guidance sets out the FCA’s expectations of firms when supporting borrowers in financial difficulty, including providing tailored forbearance.</p><p> </p><p>While Buy-Now, Pay-Later (BNPL) agreements are unregulated, when a BNPL firm passes a debt to a debt collection agency, the debt collection agency must be authorised and regulated by the FCA. It must also comply with the FCA’s rules, including those on the treatment of customers in financial difficulty outlined above.</p>

answer text <p>The Secretary of State recently announced that the UK would step up efforts to end preventable deaths of mothers, newborns and children by 2030. Universal health coverage, including access to sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), is central to these efforts.</p><p>Our health and SRHR programmes aim to understand and overcome the barriers for excluded groups, to ensure that the poorest and most vulnerable within society, including those with disabilities, are able to access services. All our SRHR programmes target adolescent girls. We also work to address the needs of ethnic groups in particular countries.</p><p>At the UN General Assembly in 2019, the Secretary of State for International Development announce funding of £600 million over 2020-2025 that will provide millions more women and girls with access to family planning.</p><p>The Women’s Integrated Sexual Health reproductive health programme uses innovative ways to identify and reach the poorest and most marginalised adolescent girls and women with essential services across 27 countries. Our support to the Robert Carr Fund, Amplify Change and the Safe Abortion Action Fund all support grassroots organisations to campaign for and promote access to the most marginalised populations’ sexual and reproductive health services and rights.</p>

answer text <p>We are committed to ensuring that older people receive the support they are entitled to and the Department targets activity on engaging with people who may be eligible at pivotal stages such as when they claim State Pension or report a change in their circumstances.</p><p> </p><p>We use a wide range of channels to communicate information about Pension Credit to potential customers; including information on gov.uk, in leaflets and by telephone.</p><p> </p><p>We believe that one of the best ways to reach those eligible customers who may be reluctant to claim is through trusted messengers working in the community and DWP provides a web-based Pension Credit toolkit at <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/pension-credit-toolkit" target="_blank">https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/pension-credit-toolkit</a> containing a range of resources for anyone working with pensioners. It contains guides to Pension Credit, examples of the reasons why eligible customers might not claim, ideas for encouraging take-up, and makes available a range of publicity material.</p>
