<p>The department publishes information annually at national, local authority and
parliamentary constituency levels on the number of pupils who are eligible for the
pupil premium in the current financial year, as a result of their having been registered
for benefits-based free school meals at any point in the last six years. Figures for
the financial years between 2015 and 2019 are available on GOV.UK via the following

</p><p>Statistics for Oxford East constituency show that between 2015-16 and 2018-19,
the proportion of primary school pupils eligible for the pupil premium fell from 27.9%
to 24.9%; and the proportion of eligible secondary school pupils fell from 40.3% to
36.7%.</p><p>Statistics for Oxford West and Abingdon constituency show the same pattern
over this period: the proportion of primary school pupils eligible for the pupil premium
fell from 14% to 12.5%, and the proportion of eligible secondary school pupils fell
from 18.3% to 16.8%.</p><p>Statistics for Oxfordshire local authority show that between
2015-16 and 2018-19, the proportion of primary school pupils eligible for the pupil
premium fell from 16.2% to 14.4%; and the proportion of eligible secondary school
pupils fell from 19.5% to 18.1%.</p>
