answer text
Since the coup in February 2021, we have imposed sanctions on 25 individuals and 29 entities. On 31 October, we announced our sixteenth round of sanctions, targeting those who profit from supplying Myanmar's military with finance and arms. Our sanctions implementation is robust - HM Treasury assesses every instance of reported non-compliance and takes action in all cases where we conclude a breach has occurred. The UK is considering a range of further targets to hold the Myanmar regime to account and will continue to maintain international efforts to ensure sanctions are effective and investigate activities that support circumvention.
more like this

answer text
The Dudley multi-speciality community provider contract is not intended to be used for a transfer of public assets. It is worth noting that a significant proportion of the health estate in Dudley is currently under the management of NHS Property Services and on lease to existing providers. These leasing contracts factor any depreciation, repair and renewal of assets into the pricing.

As under the NHS Standard Contract, the proposed contract imposes a general obligation on the provider to ensure that premises from which services are delivered and equipment used in the delivery of services comply with the requirements of Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014. It specifies the requirement that all premises and equipment used by the service provider must be properly maintained.
more like this

answer text
I am aware of concerns regarding the warranties sold by Scottish Power. The Insolvency Service has reviewed information from the liquidators of two companies that administered warranties sold between 1997 and 2001, in order to determine whether or not further investigation is warranted using powers available in the Companies Act.

Investigations conducted under section 447 Companies Act 1985 are confidential, so it is not usually possible to announce whether an investigation is taking place. I can say that in practical terms an investigation of warranties sold between 1980 and 1999 is unlikely to be able to recover meaningful evidence.

more like this
