answer text <p>The Government provides additional funding through the Pupil Premium to support disadvantaged pupils. The Pupil Premium rates have increased by 5% for 2023/24, taking total Pupil Premium funding nationally to almost £2.9 billion.</p><p>According to the most recent data, as of June 2023, 2,814 full time equivalent pupils were eligible for Pupil Premium in Stockport constituency this year, equating to £3,922,475 in funding.
