answer text <p>The Ministry of Defence has supplied 400,000 artillery shells to Ukraine since the outbreak of that country's conflict with Russia.</p><p>On behalf of the International Fund for Ukraine, a substantial ammunition package was announced by the Prime Minister at the NATO summit on 11 July 2024. This package will provide up to 120,000 rounds of 152mm artillery ammunition. The ammunition will be newly manufactured by a European supplier, stimulating new industrial capacity to provide Ukraine with high priority ammunition.</p><p> </p> more like this

answer text <p>Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR) is required to comply with its Accessible Travel Policy to support its disabled passengers which is regulated by the Office of Rail and Road. GTR’s rail enforcement, safety and station teams are also required to adhere to safety legislation to ensure the safety of all its passengers, including through working with Network Rail and the British Transport Police.</p> more like this

answer text <p>Every train operator is required to set out how they will support disabled passengers and persons of reduced mobility in an Accessible Transport Policy (ATP). The Accessible Travel Policy, previously known as the Disabled People’s Protection Policy sets out the level of services and facilities that disabled passengers can expect how to get staff assistance. Every train and station operator is required to have in place an ATP as a condition of holding a passenger operator’s licence granted by the Office of Rail and Road. This includes offering ‘Passenger Assist’ to board or alight any vehicle and how to get assistance whilst on board.</p><p> </p> more like this

answer text <p>As the Department announced in February this year, rail passengers will benefit from free Wi-Fi on trains across England and Wales from 2017. All train operators bidding for new franchises and direct award agreements will have to include this specification in their bid.</p><p> </p><p>Where there is no new franchise agreement due in the next 2 years, almost £50 million of funding will be released from the Department for Transport to ensure Wi-Fi is available.</p><p> </p> more like this
