answer text <p>Defra has not conducted specific analysis on the latest R&amp;D statistics from the ONS, which include updated figures for business, higher education sector, and economy-wide R&amp;D investment. These are the result of ongoing efforts to improve data accuracy and ensure decisions are based on robust and reliable information. Defra’s own investment in R&amp;D is increasing over the spending review period and includes programmes like the Farming Innovation Programme which began in 2021 and is designed to encourage innovation in the sector.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The Iranian authorities committed to allowing Morad to return home to his wife in Tehran on furlough, and we expect them to fulfil that commitment. We continue to lobby Iran and work with the US to secure Morad's permanent release and departure from Iran. He must be allowed to return to his family's home in Tehran immediately. answer text <p>The Home Office does not centrally hold the information requested.</p><p>The Home Office collects and publishes data on the number of arrests for notifiable offences on a financial year basis. The Home Office collects and publishes these data at the offence group level, for example, ‘Sexual offences’ or ‘Miscellaneous crimes against society’, broken down by police force area. More detailed information on the location of the arrest are not collected.</p><p>Data on the number of arrests are published in the ‘Police Powers and Procedures, England and Wales’ statistical bulletin.
