This will protect vulnerable people and help the world economy recover. The UK is taking a leading role by contributing up to £150m to the Catastrophe Containment and Relief Trust, to fund the poorest countries’ debt repayments to the IMF. We also support the suspension of debt repayments from the poorest countries by G20 and Paris Club creditors. It was announced that equipment from high risk vendors should be excluded from the core parts of the 5G and full fibre networks that are critical to security, and their presence limited to 35% in the rest of the network. We recognise that they can also be an important means of young people maintaining connections with others, accessing sources of support and for maintaining wellbeing. Access to a digital device can often be particularly valuable for autistic children and young people and we appreciate the challenges for those who usually access a device in the community or at their education setting.</p><p> </p><p>The government has announced measures to provide laptops and tablets and connectivity support for disadvantaged children and young people who do not currently have access to them. This includes disadvantaged Year 10 pupils, care leavers, and children with a social worker. People aged 16 to 19 without a suitable device for education will be eligible for support through the 16 to 19 Bursary Fund. We are monitoring the situation closely and our international law enforcement response continues. In the last month alone the NCA has contributed to the seizure of more than 1.7 tonnes of illicit drugs internationally.</p><p>It also seems likely that the pandemic and countries' responses to it, while leading to a reduction in some organised criminal activities, will be providing opportunities for new ones. It is too early to judge how long-term the consequences of this might be. We have so far helped 27 British nationals return from Sudan to the UK on three separate commercial charter flights. Through our embassy in Khartoum, officials are in regular contact with those British nationals who have expressed a desire to return to the UK. Our travel advice and social media pages are also regularly updated to ensure that those wishing to return are aware of further developments. We will continue to work to bring British nationals back to the UK where commercial options do not exist, focusing on the most vulnerable.
