That is why the Government’s manifesto brought forward the date by which we will end rough sleeping to the end of this Parliament.</p><p>The Government has already committed over £1.2 billion to tackle homelessness and rough sleeping over the Spending Review period to April 2020. In 2020/2021 we are providing a further £422 million to tackle homelessness and rough sleeping, a £54 million increase compared to 2019/20. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 17/07/2017 answer text <p>I first announced my intention to bring forward secondary legislation to implement full transparency from 1 July 2017 during my statement to Parliament on 3 July 2017. This is consistent with the commitment set out in the Government's Northern Ireland manifesto at the General Election. I had previously written to the Northern Ireland political parties in January seeking their views on this issue. The parties were also asked about the date from which transparency should take effect. Of these, 1,352,356 of these were deleted under the provisions of the Protection of Freedoms Act, which governs retention of profiles taken by English and Welsh forces, and was brought into effect in October 2013. 31,690 profiles taken by Scottish forces were deleted under Scottish law.
