answer text <p>The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) is currently reviewing the use of unit pricing in the groceries sector.</p><p> </p><p>As noted by the Chancellor in discussion with representatives of the groceries sector on 23 May, the Government will consider updating pricing rules, including by revising the Price Marking Order 2004, once the CMA review has concluded.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The conditions for authorisation for the UK Trader Scheme (UKTS) are set out in the Withdrawal Agreement Joint Committee’s decision on ‘not at risk’ goods. The Government has already provided an easement to allow GB traders who do not have a fixed place of business in Northern Ireland time to prepare, allowing them to be authorised for the UKTS until 1 November 2021 providing they meet other UKTS eligibility requirements. As part of current discussions to address outstanding issues with the Protocol and ensure it operates in the pragmatic and proportionate way intended, the Government would want to consider flexibilities that could support the streamlined flow of goods between Great Britain and Northern Ireland.</p> more like this

answer text <p>In Budget 2018, the Ministry of Justice received £52m additional funding, for which the allocation between resource and capital will be confirmed within the Supplementary Estimate.</p><p> </p><p>This will fund £30m of further improvements to safety, security and decency, £15 million on the maintenance and security of our court buildings, and another £6.5 million to be invested across the wider justice system, including a further £1.5 million for the Parole Board to boost its operational capacity.</p><p> </p><p>The Treasury have also committed to funding the cost of building a new prison at Glen Parva in Leicestershire.</p> more like this
