answer text <p /> <p>In common with other consumer products, the safety of tampons is covered under the General Product Safety Directive. EU-based tampon manufacturers have also agreed an industry code of practice which sets a standard for the information and warnings about toxic shock syndrome that should appear on product packaging.</p><p> </p><p>There have been no recent discussions between the Department and tampon manufacturers on this topic.</p> more like this
