It was developed following extensive consultation with environmental groups, the automotive industry and academia.<\/p><p> <\/p><p>The Government believes its ambition for at least half of new cars and as many as 70% to be ultra low emission by 2030 strikes the right balance between conflicting environmental, industrial and consumer priorities.
