The Government remains committed to delivering a UK Green Taxonomy to support an increase in financing for activities supporting the transition to net zero and delivering on UK environmental objectives.<\/p>
Developing a usable and useful Taxonomy is a complex and technical exercise, linked to multiple sectors of the economy and various legislative and regulatory frameworks.<\/p>

We have received thousands of applications submitted to one of the fastest and largest visa programmes in UK history.<\/p>
The Home Office has reallocated staff across its operations to meet demand and minimise any delays, and other government departments have loaned staff to assist.<\/p>

Staff in the UK are working seven days a week to process applications as quickly as possible.<\/p>
<\/p>
Where we have applications from family groups, we would look to group these decisions together, so families receive decisions wherever possible at the same time.<\/p>

As part of the Home Office\u2019s commitment to make it easier for applicants to apply to our schemes, since 15 March, Ukrainians with valid passports no longer need to go to a Visa Application Centre to give their biometrics before they come to the UK.<\/p>

In comparing the costs of different electricity technologies in the future, DECC typically use the levelised costs of electricty generation. Levelised costs include capital and operating costs over the lifetime of a plant, as well as DECC estimates of projected fuel and carbon costs.<\/p>
