The number of vets who may be required after the UK leaves the EU varies according to the range of scenarios.<\/p>

We anticipate some extra demand would be created in the unlikely event that the UK does not reach a deal with the EU relating to the certification of animals and animal products for export to the EU. RCVS has announced its agreement to a proposal from Defra for the creation of a new type of a supporting officer role in aid of the export certification work. This would potentially reduce the additional demands on vets.<\/p>

Since the vote to leave the EU, and the formation of DIT, Scottish exports of goods and services have risen substantially. All DWP staff working with customers complete training that prepares them for their role. This includes developing the skills they need to support and communicate with a diverse range of customers, and specific training is provided for working with different vulnerable groups.<\/p>

We are taking a slow, measured approach to managed migration and this will allow for on-going evaluation of the process to ensure that it is working successfully, which will enable us to refine our methods to support claimants.<\/p>

The revised draft regulations now before Parliament provide that we must give claimants a minimum of three months in which to make a claim for Universal Credit and sets no maximum period in which a claim must be made. With unlimited flexibility to extend claim periods we will work with representative groups to produce guidance that will ensure adequate support for each individual claimant\u2019s needs.<\/p>

The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government does not collect statistics on whether or not people sleeping rough have spent time in foster care. However, the department does produce annual rough sleeping counts and estimates, which are single night snapshots of the number of people sleeping rough in local authority areas. In autumn 2017, there were 369 people aged 25 years and under who were recorded as sleeping rough in England.<\/p>
From April of this year, the Government extended personal adviser support for all care leavers up to age 25. The recently published Rough Sleeping Strategy also committed an additional £3.2 million of funding for 47 local authority areas to employ specialist personal advisers. The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government is working with the Department for Exiting the EU and other government departments to prepare the UK's exit from the EU. Given the interactions between EU exit work and the Department's other priorities, it is not possible to provide a reliable figure on expenditure related to new staff employed since June 2016 who are assisting with preparations for the UK leaving the EU. Before an operator can apply for planning permission from a local authority for any proposed oil or gas development, they need to apply for a Petroleum Exploration and Development Licence (PEDL) from the Oil and Gas Authority. There are no current PEDLs within the Greater London area.<\/p> <\/p> In addition, under Section 50 of the Infrastructure Act 2015, the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy must grant Hydraulic Fracturing Consent (HFC) before hydraulic fracturing can take place in the UK. The Department has not received any HFC applications relating to shale gas exploration in a) Ealing Southall constituency, b) Ealing local authority area or c) Greater London.<\/p> <\/p> The British Geological Survey has identified the main areas of shale prosperity in the UK, none of which lie underneath the Greater London area.<\/p> <\/p>"}
