But some fighting has continued in Shyrokyne and Donetsk Airport, and heavy weapons continue to be used. The OSCE needs to be given full and unhindered access to all areas of the crisis zone so they can verify and monitor the heavy weapons withdrawal.<\/p><p>The heavy fighting around Maryinka, near Donetsk, on 3 June constituted the most serious violation of the ceasefire under the Minsk agreements since February. BCOC campaigns are tested at a local and regional level and are subject to a comprehensive evaluation process, the results of which are assessed thoroughly before a decision is taken on whether to run campaigns nationally throughout England.<\/p><p> <\/p><p> <\/p><p> <\/p><p>PHE ran a regional BCOC ovarian pilot campaign from 10 February to 16 March 2014 in the North West of England television region. The campaign was aimed at women over 50, the age group most at risk of developing ovarian cancer, and their friends and family to raise awareness of bloating as a symptom of ovarian cancer and to encourage women with this symptom to visit their general practitioner.<\/p><p> <\/p><p> <\/p><p> <\/p><p>The Department, PHE and NHS England met with the ovarian cancer charities on 16 June and it was agreed that they would continue to work together to keep the ovarian regional campaign under review and to explore how we can increase public awareness of ovarian cancer.<\/p><p> <\/p><p> <\/p><p> <\/p><p>I attended and spoke at the Target Ovarian Cancer Parliamentary event which aimed to raise awareness amongst MPs and Peers.<\/p><p> <\/p><p><strong> <\/strong><\/p><p> <\/p>"}

Cancer drugs that are not routinely funded by the NHS may be available through the Cancer Drugs Fund.<\/p><p> <\/p><p> <\/p><p> <\/p><p>Everolimus is available through the Cancer Drugs Fund for two indications: (i) in combination with exemestane, for advanced HER2-negative hormone-receptor-positive breast cancer after endocrine therapy and (ii) for the second-line treatment of advanced renal cell carcinoma.<\/p><p> <\/p><p> <\/p><p> <\/p><p>Everolimus is currently being appraised by NICE for the prevention of organ rejection in liver transplantation and for use in renal transplantation.<\/p><p> <\/p><p> <\/p><p> <\/p><p>Everolimus is also licensed for use in the treatment of Tuberous Sclerosis and Subependymal Giant Cell Astrocytoma (SEGA). NICE has not been asked to develop guidance on the use of everolimus for these conditions. It is therefore for NHS commissioners to take funding decisions based on an assessment of the available evidence.<\/p><p> <\/p><p> <\/p><p> <\/p><p>In January this year, NHS England launched a three-month public consultation to seek people\u2019s views about proposals for a set of principles which NHS England should apply when making investment decisions and a new process for developing commissioning policies for specific treatments, drugs and medical devices. These elements are part of a Framework, which, when finalised, will underpin every decision NHS England makes about specialised services investments.<\/p><p> <\/p><p> <\/p><p> <\/p><p>Now that the consultation has ended, NHS England has advised that work is underway to determine whether any amendments are required to its proposals as a result of the feedback received.<\/p><p> <\/p><p> <\/p><p> <\/p><p> <\/p><p> <\/p>"}
