This Government remains at the forefront of the fight against online terrorist and extremist material. The Police Counter Terrorism Internet Referral Unit (CTIRU) has secured the removal of over 290,000 pieces of terrorist-related material, including extremist propaganda, since February 2010. We are also working closely with industry to encourage companies to develop innovative solutions to tackle online radicalisation. In March, the department published an early years\u2019 workforce strategy, the Early Years Workforce Strategy, which can be found at: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-workforce-strategy<\/a>. This set out a number of measures to support the sector to recruit, retain and develop staff. These measures are currently being implemented.
