The Consul General and five other officials have left the UK, and are no longer accredited consular staff in the UK. We have been clear that the Consul General would not be welcome to do a further posting in the UK. He is responsible for the behaviour of his staff. On 19th November, the population of the women\u2019s prison estate was 3,236.<\/p>
306 were aged 18-24, and 69 from this age group were sharing a cell. Of these 69 women, 60 women were sharing double occupancy cells and 9 women were sharing accommodation holding three women or more.<\/p>

The UK remains deeply concerned about the extremely difficult situation facing the population of approximately 50,000 at Rukban.<\/p>
The UK government regularly engages with UN agencies, other members of the international community and with the Government of Jordan on the situation at Rukban.<\/p>
We welcome news that an agreement in principle has been reached with the Government of Jordan to provide further essential aid to the people at Rukban. However, we will continue to press for a better understanding of the specific needs of the population at Rukban and for full humanitarian access that will enable regular aid deliveries to take place in line with International Humanitarian Law.<\/p>

Removal of a diesel particulate filter will almost invariably result in a contravention of the regulations, making the vehicle illegal to use on the road.
