Now that we are looking towards the recovery of the aviation sector, we are taking steps to enhance consumer protections in the event of a company collapse. It is important that any decisions are based on up-to-date evidence that takes into account significant developments since the Airline Insolvency Review\u2019s Final Report was published in March 2019, so we can ensure our solutions are fit for today\u2019s aviation landscape. With that in mind, my Department will consider and deliver on recommendations of the Airline Insolvency Review to ensure passengers are adequately protected and able to get home if their airline fails.<\/p>"}
