The Government has published a list of travel corridors - countries and territories from which passengers arriving to the UK will be exempt from the current 14-day self-isolation requirements.

In deciding which countries to include in this initial list, we have been guided by the science. We will continue to take an objective, evidence-based approach.

Although Sri Lanka is not included in the first list of country-based exemptions to the current requirement, the Government recognises how important tourism is between our two countries.

The Government continues to work closely with international partners around the world to discuss arrangements for travellers arriving from the UK.

The Government will keep the requirements, countries and exemptions set out in the Regulations under review. This government has made a clear commitment to protect workers’ rights, and ensure that they keep pace with the changing labour market as we leave the EU. Furthermore, we do not need to be part of the EU to have strong protections for workers' rights - the UK already goes beyond EU minimum standards in a number of areas.

Both DExEU Ministers and senior officials have met a wide range of interested organisations to hear concerns and gather insight. So far, the Secretary of State, the Permanent Secretary, and DExEU officials have met the TUC, and the Secretary of State has met UNISON. This engagement will continue as we move into the negotiation phase of our exit from the EU and will help to inform our negotiating positions.

Details of Ministerial meetings, and those of senior officials, will be published in the Department’s Quarterly Transparency Returns, which will be made publicly available on GOV.UK.

No new cancer medicines have been added to the national Cancer Drugs Fund (CDF) list since June 2015. As part of its work to reprioritise the Fund in 2015-16, NHS England took the decision not to consider new drugs for inclusion on the national CDF list.

NHS England and the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) recently consulted on draft proposals for the future direction of the Fund. The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) is committed to tackling cases of female genital mutilation (FGM), however it can only prosecute cases referred to it by the police which meet both of the tests outlined in the Code for Crown Prosecutors.

The Code sets out a two stage test which must be applied when deciding whether a case should be prosecuted. The first stage is the evidential test which requires prosecutors to be satisfied that there is sufficient evidence to provide a realistic prospect of conviction. If the evidential stage of the test is met prosecutors must then go on to identify the relevant public interest factors tending for and against the prosecution in order to form an overall assessment of whether a prosecution is in the public interest.
