We are working to build the national picture of the nature and scale of child sexual exploitation by organised groups. Child sexual abuse and exploitation are under-reported crimes, which means it is challenging to develop accurate assessment of the number of victims. However, best estimations in-dicate that approximately 5-15% of children have experienced child sexual abuse in their lifetime.<\/p>
