The most recent data available on the number of stipendiary curates can be found in the one off special project published in 2015 called 'Released for mission, growing the rural church', which is available here: https://www.churchofengland.org/news-and-media/news-and-statements/released-mission-growing-rural-church<\/a><\/p> For more than a decade the Church Commissioners have financially supported dioceses to increase the number of ordinands they can afford to send for training.
