In December 2018, the Government set out its proposals in \u201cthe UK\u2019s future Skills-based Immigration System\u201d White Paper. The White Paper proposals include a new route for skilled workers which will be open to anyone at RQF level 3 and above, irrespective of where they are applying from. This route will not be capped allowing all of those who meet our requirements to come to the UK.<\/p>

The settlement agreement secured the vital freight capacity that Government has purchased from DFDS and Brittany Ferries, and therefore the unhindered supply of medicines for our NHS, by removing a legal risk of the contracts with these companies being declared ineffective by the Court.
