The Department is highly invested in increasing innovation within the National Health Service, and over the last five years, national bodies including NHS England, NHS Improvement, NHS Digital and the Department have managed a series of high-profile central funding programmes designed to support the digitisation of primary and secondary healthcare services. NHSX has been formed to accelerate the adoption of digital innovation across the NHS and social care.<\/p>
In December 2019, we announced the Digital Aspirant Fund to support NHS providers. This fund will provide support to organisations with low levels of digitisation in order to help them reach a national standard.<\/p>
