	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 11/06/2019 answer text <p>The total number and percentage of students entering A level physical education in each year is provided in the tables attached, as well as the percentage of entrants into each subject who were eligible for Free School Meals (FSM). The Department has published[1] the number of students entering A level physical education or sport/physical education studies (up to 2015/16), split by FSM, from 2010/11 – 2017/18. Figures for 2009/10 are not available</p><p> </p><p>Figures for 2010/11 – 2015/16 are based on exam results achieved in the report year. In addition, for 2015/16 figures only include students who were included in the ‘best 3 A levels’ measure. From 2016/17, figures cover exam results achieved in all years of 16-18 studies (up to three years) and inclusion in the best 3 A level measure was no longer used in the methodology, resulting in more students being included and correspondingly higher rates of entry. Due to the changes in methodology 2015/16 is not comparable with any other year, and 2016/17 and 2017/18 are only comparable with each other. The EU referendum was carried out based on legislation passed by Parliament and almost three quarters of the electorate took part. The EU referendum provisions were carefully scrutinised and ratified by Parliament. In line with the precedent for referendums, there was a six week period in which the formal result and administration of the EU Referendum could be challenged by judicial review. We treat the integrity and security of our democratic processes extremely seriously.</p><p> </p><p>If offences are alleged, it is right that they are investigated thoroughly by the appropriate agencies. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 13/12/2018 answer text <p>Strict rules already ensure gambling adverts are not targeted at, or appeal to, children, or exploit the vulnerable, and these apply across all media, including online and on social media.</p><p> </p><p>Gambling operators are required to comply with the advertising codes of practice issued by the Committees of Advertising Practice (CAP). These are enforced by the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA). In addition to rules covering children, the advertising codes have specific provisions to protect vulnerable people, and CAP’s new guidance in February further restricted adverts that create an inappropriate sense of urgency or give an irresponsible perception of risk or control.</p><p> </p><p>Gambling adverts must not feature content that risks appealing to children, for example cartoon animals. Last year the Gambling Commission and ASA acted quickly to make clear that operators using such images were in breach of advertising rules and must remove the material or face enforcement action. In addition to rules on content, the ASA has made clear that operators advertising online must use data on customers’ interests to target marketing campaigns away from children.</p><p> </p><p>The government considered gambling advertising as part of our Review of Gaming Machines and Social Responsibility Measures and set out a package of initiatives to strengthen protections further, including further CAP guidance on protecting children and young people, and tougher Gambling Commission sanctions for breaches of the advertising codes, including fines.</p> answering member constituency Eastleigh answering member printed Mims Davies grouped question UIN 199337 question first answered 13/12/2018 16:59:04 answering member 4513 label Biography information for Mims Davies
