answer text <p>HM Revenue and Customs staff being relocated to the Croydon Regional Centre are in the process of one to one meetings with managers to discuss personal circumstances and establish whether or not they can move. The discussions undertaken to date indicate that the majority of people are within reasonable daily travel of the new regional centre.</p> more like this

Its location plans are expected to generate savings of tens of millions of pounds every year from 2025.</p><p>The HMRC office in Cumbernauld is scheduled to close in 2019-20. HMRC believes that the majority of staff are within reasonable daily travel of Glasgow and will move with their work.</p> more like this

The Invitation to Tender (ITT) made it clear that HMRC would consider the prospect of indemnifying supplier redundancy costs up to a capped limit. answer text <p>HM Revenue and Customs is working closely with the software industry to ensure that a range of software products (including free software) is available before the commencement of Making Tax Digital in April 2018.</p><p> </p><p>The tax system already provides support via various reliefs and deductions for the purchase of hardware and software as well as other expenditure. As part of the Making Tax Digital consultations, the Government sought views on further financial assistance and support. Given the views expressed, it announced on 31 January that it will continue to consider options for assistance and support alongside the fiscal impacts.</p> more like this
