Minutes of meetings held in 2019 will be published in the next calendar year.</p><p> </p><p>UK Export Finance’s (UKEF) Annual Report and Accounts includes a report from the Council which lists the number of meetings it has held and a summary of the issues that the Council considered. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 08/10/2019 answer text <p>The Government Digital Service (GDS) is implementing end-to-end performance monitoring so that GOV.UK can be designed to ensure that people can access the information and services they need as easily as possible. Departments are enabling GDS to centrally collect data on site usage across the GOV.UK estate, to provide an end to end, anonymised view of how people interact with government online. In developing this project, both GDS and departments have taken into account both the data protection regime and other guidance like the Government’s Data Ethics Framework.</p><p> </p><p>Clear and robust Memorandums of Understanding set out the terms of the project. The MOUs outline the responsibilities of both the GDS and departments in a number of areas, including handling the relevant data to ensure there is no unauthorised access, loss, misuse, modification or disclosure.</p><p> </p><p>The MoUs will be regularly updated in line with the government’s commitment to continuous improvement in digital services and best practice in data and privacy standards. The Government Communication Service, as the professional body for communications in government, upholds the highest professional standards in undertaking its duties and in particular, complying with data protection legislation.</p><p>The campaign microsite, <a href="http://www.joiningthepolice.co.uk" target="_blank">www.joiningthepolice.co.uk</a>, directs potential applicants to local police force websites, which are not managed by the Home Office, to begin their application process. The microsite collects IP addresses and generates cookies to inform improvement of the site and to make campaign marketing more engaging and relevant. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 01/10/2019 answer text <p>The Government Digital Service (GDS) and the wider Cabinet Office take their responsibilities in relation to the handling of data extremely seriously. We always take into account both the data protection regime and other guidance like the Government’s Data Ethics Framework.</p><p>Different types of data and information are stored in different ways in accordance with our information assurance policies. In relation to the specific project to join up performance analytics across the GOV.UK estate, GDS has created a separate account within its existing Google Analytics account to hold the anonymised performance data collected from GOV.UK services managed by other government departments. Data within the two accounts is not linked together.</p><p>Currently Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) cleared personnel working on the project have access to this anonymised data. BPSS is the minimum required security clearance, and access is granted on a case-by-case basis to further ensure that only appropriate people have access to the data. Data is stored in an encrypted format when it is in transit between service systems and the centralised Google Analytics account, and when stored in the account data store. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 08/10/2019 answer text <p>The first phase of the police recruitment campaign is running from Thursday 5<sup>th</sup> September to Friday 18<sup>th</sup> October 2019.</p><p> </p><p>The department is currently expecting to spend approximately £1.4m on this phase of campaign activity including website development and advertising.</p><p> </p><p>The next phase of the campaign is due to run from January 2020. The department is currently in planning for this campaign and is yet to finalise budgets across the programme.</p><p> </p><p>Government policies and programmes affect the lives of millions of people and in order for them to work, they must be communicated effectively to engage the public and bring about positive behaviour change.
