<p>The British High Commission in Islamabad is responsible for operational decision-making
in relation to managing the accommodation and other support provided to those in Pakistan.</p><p>
</p><p>The Ministry of Defence (MoD) is responsible for supporting the movement of
eligible persons out of Afghanistan and into third countries, assessing eligibility
of applications under ARAP, and referring eligible persons with a Defence connection
to charitable partners for Operation NEWHOPE support.</p><p> </p><p>ARAP eligible
individuals are provided with accommodation, food, medical treatment, and dedicated
support from a team of MOD & FCDO caseworkers in Pakistan while they await relocation
to the UK. When relocation becomes possible for individuals or family groups, we use
commercial flights to bring individuals to the UK.</p>
