The Crown Prosecution Service is committed to treating all victims and witnesses at court with respect and sensitivity. Victims of domestic abuse are encouraged to take part in pre-trial familiarisation visits, which can help them understand what will happen when they attend court. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 26/03/2018 answer text <p>Local authorities in England have a statutory duty under the Public Libraries and Museums Act 1964 (1964 Act) to provide a comprehensive and efficient library service. Under the 1964 Act, the Secretary of State has a duty to superintend, and promote the improvement of, the public library service provided by local authorities in England, and to secure the proper discharge by local authorities of their library authority functions.</p><p> </p><p>The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport provides funding to Arts Council England which supports public libraries in England including through the Arts Council’s Grants for the Arts programme. Funding for seven libraries organisations are in the Arts Council’s National Portfolio for 2018 to 2022, including the Society of Chief Librarians as a sector support organisation for libraries.</p><p> </p><p>In addition, the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport and the Local Government Association established the Libraries Taskforce. In December 2016, the Taskforce published ‘Libraries Deliver: Ambition for Public Libraries in England 2016-2021’, which sets out a vision for library services in England. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 23/07/2018 answer text <p>The Government believes that all art forms should be accessible to as many people as possible regardless of their background.</p><p>Both the Royal Opera House (ROH) and the ROH Bridge Delivery Organisation, who receive Arts Council England (ACE) grants for 2018 - 22, have funding conditions linked to increasing participation in the arts through outreach work with schools and local communities. . <strong>T</strong>he ROH’s excellent ‘Welcome Performance’ initiative aims to further increase family participation in the opera. Further details on the scheme can be found here: <a href="http://www.roh.org.uk/welcome-performances" target="_blank">http://www.roh.org.uk/welcome-performances</a>.</p><p>The ROH also works with BP to produce Big Screen live relays of opera and ballet direct from Covent Garden to sites across the country. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 03/07/2019 answer text <p>The measures set out in the Government’s statutory Cycling and Walking Investment Strategy, as well as the almost £2 billion being invested in cycling and walking over the current Parliament, will help boost the use of e-bikes as well as the use of conventional bikes. The Department has recently published refreshed cycle to work guidance to make it easier for employers to provide employees with cycles, including e-bikes, worth over £1,000.
