Friend the Secretary of State for Defence and I have regular conversations with international partners on a variety of naval export opportunities. UK industry, working in partnership with the UK Defence &amp; Security Exports (UKDSE) and MOD are actively pursuing a number of naval campaigns, including for Type 31.</p><p> </p><p>Exports is a key part of the National Shipbuilding Strategy, and the Secretary of State for Defence, as the Shipbuilding Tsar, continues to lead this work across government. This strategy contains the contractor's commitment to deliver improvements in areas such as supply chain development, social welfare, skills and productivity enhancements, as well as exports.
