answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 05/09/2017 answer text <p>Analysis conducted by Her Majesty’s Treasury to compare public sector pay to that in the private sector shows that on average, when including employer pension contributions, there is a public sector premium of about 10%.</p><p>The analysis was conducted for the whole public sector rather than specific grades, specialisms and roles.
