It is for local authorities to ensure ceremonies can be safely delivered in line with Public Health and local authority guidance.</del></p><p><del class="ministerial">Marriages and civil partnerships can take place in Wales where appropriate risk assessments have been undertaken and safety measures are in place</del></p><p><ins class="ministerial">National restrictions in England came to an end on 2 December. The UK’s Counter Terrorism Strategy, CONTEST, sets out our approach to countering this threat and is based around the ‘4 Ps’ – Pursue: the investigation and disruption of terrorist attacks; Prevent: work to stop people becoming terrorists or supporting terrorism and extremism; Protect: improving our protective security to stop a terrorist attack; and Prepare: working to minimise the impact of an attack and to recover from it as quickly as possible. Taken together these programmes of work tackle the threat to the UK and its interests overseas from terrorism. The Home Secretary’s written statement of 9 April reports on our work in 2013, and we are committed to continuing to publish reports annually.So far in 2014 we are legislating to ensure that that we can prosecute people for all terrorist activity, even where that activity takes place overseas. We have also recently passed the Data Retention and Investigatory Powers Act 2014 to ensure continued retention of communications data.On 1 September the Prime Minister announced the government’s intention to <br>introduce new counter-terrorism powers in order to meet the threats posed by the current conflicts in Syria and Iraq. The forthcoming legislation includes measures to disrupt travel to Syria or Iraq and manage the risk posed by returnees. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 12/12/2018 answer text <p>This Government is committed to transforming the response to domestic abuse and on 8 March we launched a consultation seeking views on a range of options to ensure victims are afforded the greatest possible protection and perpetrators are brought to justice.
