<p>As we have always been clear, normalising relations between Serbia and Kosovo is
crucial for the security, stability and prosperity of both countries and the wider
region. The Government believes that this should be on the basis of recognition of
independent sovereign nations within their current borders. We believe that calls
for re-drawing national borders could be de-stabilising. We continue to support the
EU-facilitated dialogue with a view to a comprehensive and sustainable solution that
benefits both countries.</p>
