answer text <p>To ensure transparency of police use of powers, the Home Office collect and publish statistics on the use of police powers in the annual &quot;Police powers and procedure&quot; statistical release. This includes data on those arrested for notifiable offences and stopped and searched, including by ethnicity, and broken down by police force area.
