answer text <p>The Northern Ireland Office follows the Civil Service Recruitment Principles when filling posts and makes any appointments to the Civil Service on merit and on the basis of fair and open competition and in line with the Civil Service nationality rules.</p><p> </p><p>Other than the rules quoted above, nationality is not a factor in any recruitment decisions to appoint to the Northern Ireland Office.</p><p> </p> more like this
