answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 17/09/2020 answer text <p>As I have previously announced, the forthcoming Digital Strategy will set out how the Government wants to maximise the benefits of a tech-led recovery to Covid-19, whilst coherently addressing the challenges it poses. The Strategy will focus on growth and using tech to power us out of the recession, to drive productivity and to create jobs in all parts of our economy. For the aspirations of this Strategy to be delivered successfully, we recognise people will need the capability and confidence to get the most out of an increasingly digital world. As part of the development process of the Digital Strategy, we are considering the most suitable ways to embed inclusion objectives to ensure that all citizens can benefit from a digitally-driven society.</p><p> </p><p>On online harms, we published the initial government response to the Online Harms White Paper in February, which set out the direction of travel, and we will publish the Full Government Response later this year. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 16/06/2020 answer text <p>It is not possible to quantify the proportion of current and planned 5G networks that are safety-related, safety-critical networks and security-critical network functions.</p><p>Safety-related and safety-critical networks in non-telecoms Critical National Infrastructure do not relate to public 5G networks.</p><p>Security-critical network functions in the 5G network relate to the sensitive ‘core’ of the mobile network. As no public networks have deployed a 5G core, it is not possible to calculate what proportion of the current 5G networks are covered by the ‘core’. Commercial decisions on the design and make-up of future 5G networks rests with the individual operators. However, we appreciate that the Covid-19 pandemic presents a significant challenge to many of DCMS’ sectors including publishing and the wider Creative Industries which is why the government has announced unprecedented support for business and workers to protect them against the current economic emergency.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>To ensure we are assisting all our sectors as effectively as possible, regular ministerially-chaired roundtables are held with business representative organisations as well as trade associations from across the Creative Industries. The DCMS-led Cross-Whitehall Counter Disinformation Unit (CDU) was stood up on 5 March 2020, bringing together cross-government monitoring and analysis capabilities from DCMS, the Home Office, the Foreign &amp; Commonwealth Office and the Cabinet Office. Major platforms have updated their terms of service and made technical changes to their products in order to reduce the impact of harmful misinformation. This includes measures to ensure users see accurate information on Covid-19, including links to NHS and other authoritative sources.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>The Government continues to work closely with platforms to help them identify and take action to remove dangerous, incorrect claims about the virus, and suspend the accounts of people who wilfully post and share it. For these purposes, the Government defined telecoms key workers to include staff working on network operations, field engineering, call centre staff, IT and data infrastructure, 999 and 111 critical services. All central guidance has been published on <a href="https://www.gov.uk/" target="_blank">gov.uk</a></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>The Government guidance on staying at home and away from people clarifies that work carried out in people’s homes, including for repairs and maintenance, can continue, provided that the tradesperson is well and has no symptoms. Workers should seek to follow Public Health England advice on distancing.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>The Government does not intend to prescribe which kinds of activity (network build, network repair, maintenance, consumer switching) are and are not appropriate. On Tuesday 19 May, NCSC published advice on its website that includes practical advice concerned citizens can follow.</p><p> </p><p>EasyJet have said they have already contacted all 2,208 customers who had their credit cards details accessed.
