The number of buildings which will receive funding will depend on the applications received. We estimate up to 153 may be available. We are continuing to engage with owners and developers to encourage them to maintain their commitments and not draw on the fund. We are not publishing details which could identify buildings because of the risk to public safety. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 17/06/2019 answer text <p>MHCLG do not hold comprehensive data on planned completion dates for the remediation of Aluminium Composite Material (ACM) buildings. The private sector remediation fund, announced on 9 May, will remove the biggest blocker to progress on remediation in the private residential buildings. However, it is important to recognise remediation work cannot be done overnight, and it must be done properly. The time to complete work varies considerably depending on the factors such as structure, extent of cladding, and existing fire safety systems. For many buildings this is a complex job involving major construction work. Advice Note 14 was published in 2017 and updated in December 2018. The advice note provides a decision tree that directs them to seek professional help and consider remediation measures if they do not have the necessary evidence that a cladding system is safe. The tests began on 30 April 2019 and we expect final results to be available by the Summer. The research findings will be published in due course.
