More than 48,000 foreign national offenders have been removed from the UK since 2010, and in the last financial year more than 5,000 were removed from prisons, immigration removal centres, and the community.</p><p> </p><p>Prisoner transfer is one of the mechanisms used to remove foreign national offenders. Between 1 May 2014 and 31 May 2019, 464 sentenced prisoners were transferred from England and Wales to other countries under international prisoner transfer arrangements. This information could only be obtained by a manual examination of CPS case files, which would incur disproportionate cost.</p><p>While the CPS does not collect data on defendants prosecuted by specific offence or the outcome of any prosecution, information is available for the number of offences concerning the keeping or management of brothels and controlling prostitution, in which a prosecution commenced at magistrates’ courts. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 23/07/2019 answer text <p>We have no current plans to establish a national fuel fund.</p><p>The Government provides support to those struggling with their gas and electricity bills through:</p><p>• The Warm Home Discount, which provides a £140 rebate to more than two million households;</p><p>• Winter Fuel Payments, that provides £200-300 to pensioners, ensuring that they can keep warm during the colder months; and</p><p>• Cold Weather Payments, which were automatically provided to more than one million households during winter 2018-19.</p><p>In addition, the default tariff cap protects all consumers on default tariffs from being overcharged and Ofgem’s safeguard price cap protects consumers on pre-payment meter tariffs.</p><p>The most sustainable approach to decreasing energy bills is improving energy efficiency.</p><p>• The Energy Company Obligation drives £640 million of investment annually into improving the efficiency of low income and vulnerable households.</p><p>• The Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards require landlords spend up to £3500 (including VAT) improving their rented properties to EPC Band E.</p> answering member printed Lord Henley question first answered 23/07/2019 13:45:57 answering member 2616 label Biography information for Lord Henley

Ministers will correspond directly with the Member.</del></p><p><ins class="ministerial">We continue to work with key stakeholders across the food chain to overcome the barriers to redistribution and explore solutions through The Waste and Resources Action Programme (WRAP), supported by funding from Defra.</ins></p><p><ins class="ministerial">All large retailers have relationships with redistribution organisations and we have seen a large increase in redistribution which has almost doubled since 2015 (96% increase), or an additional £81 million of food equivalent to an extra 65 million meals a year. This has been helped by a 63% increase in supply of food from major retailers in recent years.</ins></p><p><ins class="ministerial">There is still more that can be done, the Government announced in October 2018 a £15m pilot fund for 2019/20 that aims to increase the redistribution of surplus food through a series of grant opportunities. The winners of which will be announced later in the year. We have already awarded £4.2 million of this fund to projects.</ins></p><p><ins class="ministerial">In line with its commitment in the Resources and Waste Strategy the Government has also appointed Ben Elliot as its Food Waste Reduction Champion. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 08/10/2019 answer text <p>We have interpreted this question as referring to sulphur hexafluoride (SF6).</p><p> </p><p>In the EU Fluorinated Greenhouse Gases Regulation (2014), equipment containing sulphur hexafluoride (SF6) is subject to containment provisions, including leak checking obligations, a requirement to repair any detected leakages without undue delay and the need to use appropriately qualified personnel to perform these tasks. The Regulation also prohibits the intentional release of F-gases into the atmosphere, where the release is not technically necessary for the intended use.</p><p> </p><p>The EU F-gases Regulation requires that the Commission publish a report by 1 July 2020, assessing whether cost-effective, technically feasible, energy-efficient and reliable alternatives exist, which make the replacement of SF6 possible in new medium-voltage secondary switchgear.
