We do not have details of opportunity costs incurred (i.e. the costs of officers whilst on their regular duties). answer text <p>The Government proposed a change to the discount rate in September. This change was confirmed at the Budget in October. Provisional valuation results suggest employers will need to pay more into schemes from 2019/20.</p><p>At the Budget, the Treasury allocated extra funding to the reserve for 2019/20 to cover the unexpected additional costs arising from this change to the discount rate, including for fire. Provisional results indicate fire will pay an additional £10 million next year.</p><p>Fire services have the resources to do their work. At March 2018 the standalone FRAs held £545 million in reserves, equivalent to 42 percent of the core spending power.</p> more like this

These data were first collected for the 2015/16 financial period. The most recent update was published on 12 November 2018.</p><p>The number of ‘live’ applications is subject to change on a frequent basis as applications are received and concluded daily. Data would only be accurate at the time it was generated, with any Answer potentially being inaccurate at the time of release. answer text <p>The department does not hold this information.</p><p><br>On 16 April, the Home Office established a Taskforce to ensure that mem-bers of the Windrush generation were able to evidence their right to be in the UK. Subsequently, on 24 May the Home Secretary laid a Written Ministerial Statement setting out the Windrush Scheme, which ensures that members of this generation, their children born in the UK and those who arrived in the UK as minors will be able to apply to the Taskforce for citizenship, or various other immigration products, free of charge.</p><p>The scheme came into force on 30 May.The Department has provided an update on its response to the problems affecting members of the Windrush generation to the Home Affairs Select Committee on a monthly basis.</p> more like this
