Further, due to the Government’s guarantee for EU-funded programmes, UK organisations, including those in Wales, will receive funding in the unlikely event that the Withdrawal Agreement is not ratified.</p><p> </p><p>The UK’s exit from the EU provides us with an opportunity to reconsider how funding for growth across the UK is designed and delivered. For Wales, the European Regional Development Fund amount is €1,409,422,319, for European Social Fund the amount is €1,007,867,040.</p><p> </p><p>The Wales-Ireland Co-operation scheme is a joint funding pot of €79,198,450, available for all Irish and Welsh beneficiaries to drawdown from and is not separated by Member State.</p><p> </p><p>From January 2014 to November 2018, entities located in Wales have been awarded Horizon 2020 funding of €102,332,792.</p><p> </p><p>For the Common Agricultural Policy funding for 2014-2020, Wales will receive a pillar 1 (direct payment) allocation of around €2,245million, and pillar 2 (rural development) allocation of around €355million.</p><p><strong> </strong></p> answering member constituency Vale of Glamorgan answering member printed Alun Cairns question first answered 23/11/2018 10:37:26 answering member 4086 label Biography information for Alun Cairns

answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 26/11/2018 answer text <p>HMRC reviews all National Minimum Wage (NMW) complaints that are referred to them, in order to ensure that workers receive what they are legally entitled to. Breaches of NMW legislation are normally a civil matter, and consequences for not complying with paying NMW can include fines of up to 200% of the arrears and public naming.</p><p> </p><p>For the most serious NMW breaches, HMRC will refer cases to the CPS who decide whether to prosecute. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 22/11/2018 answer text <p>As we committed to in the written ministerial statement of 24 July 2018 (HCWS927), we have begun engagement with devolved administrations, including the Welsh Government, ahead of the public consultation, intended for later this year. This engagement began in September 2018 when HM Government officials held initial meetings with their counterparts in Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Wider engagement with external stakeholders across the UK is ongoing.</p><p>We intend to consult on the design of the United Kingdom Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) later this year and encourage all interested parties to contribute their views. Final decisions on the detail and operation of the UKSPF will be made following the Spending Review in 2019.</p><p>In the meantime, we understand places around the UK require certainty of funding after we leave the European Union. We are confident that a negotiated agreement will be reached and that we will continue to take part in the 2014-2020 EU programmes until they end.
