answer text
In October 2021, the Government published the Greening Finance Roadmap, which set out its intention to deliver new Sustainability Disclosures Requirements for companies, pension schemes and the financial services industry. These requirements will ensure that investment decisions take better account of sustainability matters. Section 172 of the Companies Act 2006 already requires directors to have regard to the environment (among other matters), and directors of large companies must make an annual statement on how they are meeting their Section 172 duty.
more like this

answer text
As of 8 March, over 2 million people are reported by the UN to have left Ukraine. We are grateful to Ukraine's neighbouring countries for their support and their confirmation that their borders will remain open to all those fleeing the conflict. Sadly these numbers will continue to rise while Putin continues his reprehensible and needless attack. The best source of statistics on population displacement can be found at https://data2.unhcr.org/en/situations/ukraine.

We have deployed UK humanitarian experts to support Ukraine's neighbours, who are receiving and supporting the increasing flow of refugees. The UK Government has pledged £395 million of aid, which includes £220 million of humanitarian assistance. Our humanitarian support will help partners stand up their response to the deteriorating humanitarian situation, creating a lifeline for Ukrainians with access to basic necessities.
more like this

answer text
The Government is clear that late payment and unfavourable payment practices is a serious issue, particularly for smaller businesses. We have already taken steps to tackle the issue, including making it a legal requirement for the UK’s largest businesses to report on their payment terms and practices. The Department will launch a Call for Evidence to assess what further steps and intervention may be needed to ensure small businesses are not subject to unfair payment practices.
more like this
